They can be widely used in industrial paints, automotive coatings, and car window films with high - performance and durability requirements.
DXSORB®1009 is a hydroxyphenyl triazine UV absorber that performs excellently in coatings and film applications. It has an extremely high extinction coefficient, very high light stability, a long service life, and excellent thermal stability and performance. It is suitable for coatings that undergo high - baking cycles and/or extreme environmental conditions. It can also be used in amine - and/or metal - catalyzed coating systems or in topcoats applied over primers containing such catalysts. It is recommended for automotive OEM and refinish paint systems, UV - cured coatings, and industrial coatings. DXSORB®1009 can be used in combination with DXSORB®400 to further broaden the spectral coverage.
